Schulkunst wird wöchentlich unterrichtet und ist die mittlere Stufe des CAF-Unterrichts für "Kunsterziehung" und "Kunstverständnis" für Schüler im Alter von 6 bis 17 Jahren. Die Teilnahme umfasst entweder die Teilnahme an aufeinander aufbauenden (Klassen-) Lektionen oder an unabhängigen (Wertschätzungs-) Lektionen, die den Grundsätzen der disziplinbasierten Kunsterziehung* [Lernen in und durch Kunst] und Aspekten der USA, National Visual Art Standards** [Lehr-, Bewertungs- und Anforderungspfade] folgen.
Kunstschüler werden je nach Alter in eine der vier CAF-Grundfertigkeitsstufen eingeteilt: Anfänger (6-8 Jahre); Beginner (9-11 Jahre); Lehrling (12-14 Jahre); und Schüler (15-17 Jahre). Darüber hinaus haben die Schüler die Wahl, die Standards der ihnen zugewiesenen oder einer höheren Stufe zu erfüllen, indem sie ihre Kunstwerke in ihrem jeweiligen zweistündigen, altersübergreifenden Klassenraum schaffen. Zu den Kunsterfahrungen der School Art gehören das Beziehen, Bewerten, Analysieren und Produzieren von Kunst* sowie das Verbinden, Reagieren, Erstellen und Präsentieren** der fertigen Werke.
Der Kunstunterricht in der Schule befähigt die teilnehmenden Schüler, ihre künstlerischen Entscheidungen auszudrücken und ihre kreativen Energien bei der Definition ihres eigenen kreativen Stils einzusetzen, indem sie verschiedene Kunstmedien und -techniken verwenden, um - zu verstehen; zu schaffen; zu genießen!

Program Overview : Given a creative challenge, which links student's critical-thinking and creative decision-making for art production, each student explores or refines their manipulations of selected media to create S.T.E.A.M.-focused art project.

Program Overview :
Creativity and self-expression are tied to a particular art discipline, using a particular medium, as well as seeking to visualize a particular topic.

The twice a month lessons are offered in the mornings to better support the Homeschooling Community curriculum and offered in the afternoons to better support the German and American public school, were each 2-hour art lesson starts and completes the project in the same session.

Program Overview : Establishing a personal understanding of art-making and art understanding by creating works that "speak" the individually and collective visual expressions of the elements and principles of art. Mixing and matching the "vocabulary" and "creations" that "speak" the "language of art," students "produce" their work and achieve its "artistic challenge," to "emphasize" each "line" in its "space" to "balance" the "unity" in a "monochromatic" "landscapes!" . . .

Grund- and Mittelschule Grafenwoehr == Taught through invitation according to Ms. Lauder and the Grafenwoehr school leadership ; Total Monthly Hours = 8 hours ; Additionally Class Fee = none ; Art-making supplies = included.
Program Overview : In 2024, CAF was asked to conduct an art lesson to the students of Ms. Lauder's 7th Grade class at the Grafenwoehr Grund- and Middle-School. This surprising honor rekindled memories of CAF's pre-COVID support to the school's "Praktikum" program. Now, creating art within the school's classrooms was a humbling an gracious honor accepted with great enthusiasm and gratitude. For 2025, CAF will support two grades at the middle school!

At ACAF you can not only learn the German language, but also actively use it in a creative context. You will not only learn grammar and vocabulary, but also the way of expression in the art scene, if you enjoy that. This makes learning exciting and lively! Art-making supplies = included, which also includes the issuing of a student art-journaling book for student's visual expressions in journeying through Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling.
Program Overview : The CAF's Harry Potter Art Club is designed to infuse each club member into the storyline of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone,"
written by J.K Rowling, who said:
"We do not need magic to transform the world.
We carry all of the power we need inside ourselves already."
Each 2-hour art lesson allows students to visualize their "Muggle" roles, actions, and activities within this first Harry Potter movie. Their CAF-provided Harry Potter Journal comprises their 2D and bas-relief visualizations, while their 3D assemblages & sculptures allow for high-relief, stand alone, and sculpture-in-the-round pieces. Our art-making is continuous and imaginative (magical) so that each student can fully visualize their movie involvement until reaching their conclusion in their movie retelling through their art.
